This project was in collaboration with the artists of Carlson Garcia, for the Activity Apparatus gallery show at the Soccer Club Club in Chicago, Illinois. The gallery show was April 1-30, 2019, with an opening reception on March 30, 2019, featuring a live performance by music artist Haley Fohr (Circuit des Yeux).
My contribution on this project was the coding of the audio-responsive visuals that are projected onto the structure. The shapes that I created are based on the 1787 Chladni figures, an early visualization of acoustics through vibration. The coding was done in Java. The construction of the structure itself and the video-mapping was done by Carlson Garcia.
